Weekly Challenge - "Fairy Tales"

Once upon a time in a magical land far, far away there lived...

An artist who dreamed of adventures beyond her kingdom. Every day she would paint the scenes of her dream world and close her eyes at night with thoughts of elves and pixies, gallant Knights, courageous Princesses and legendary creatures inhabiting her land of Nod.

One day, as she stood gazing across her Kingdom, her mind with the inhabitants of her imagination, she spotted something fluttering in a tree nearby. She thought at first a bird had become trapped in the tightly woven branches but once she stepped closer she discovered to her surprise a fairy. The tiny creature glittered with magic and our artist friend was nervous to approach, but there was something about the winged creature that drew her closer. She saw that the fairy's soft wings had become entangled in the thorns that grew there so she carefully pulled them away until they were free.

"Why thank you" said the fairy in the sweetest voice ever heard. "For your kindness, I will grant you a wish for I am the keeper of fairy tales and it is my job to make them come true. Which of yours can I conjure up for you?...

To be continued.... by the visitors to our challenge.

Hey guys,

I had just happened to be working on this for another project I was working on, but when ya'll announced it as the topic for this week, I figured why not add it. It's an awesome theme and I look forward to seeing what everyone does.

Faith, trust, and faerie dust!
