Weekly Challenge - "Freedom"

Just dashing in to let you all know there's a new challenge for this week and although it may be a bit predictable for us Americans , what with the approaching July 4th holiday, this week's theme is "Freedom" - I hear marching bands!
There are loads of ideas that come to mind when I think of Freedom. Besides the standard ones - speech, religion, and expression, a myriad of creative images pop into my head when thinking of this theme, such as the dreams I have where I'm flying free as a bird over landscapes of green rolling hills and country corn fields. I also think of our fury friends on this planet who deserve the right to roam freely. There are just all different ways to think about and interpret this theme and we all know how much we value our Freedom until we're at risk of loosing it.So this week we invite you to exercise your creative freedom and join us by entering our Weekly Challenge. As always, the challenge is open to anyone with a blog and any artform is acceptable. Venture outside your comfort zone and try something new or stick with what you know - The choice is yours just have fun!

Simply leave a comment on this posting, up until Sunday, July 4th at 12noon, and be sure to include a link to your creation. New creations are encouraged as well as links to a descriptive blot posting - we want to hear about your creative process! ;D

Enjoy the theme, have a great week, and we'll see you again on Sunday!

How spooky is this.... Just as I read the theme, the song I was listening to uttered the word "freedom". It's one of those World Cup anthems - wave your flag. Perhaps it's trying to tell me something?!

I'm sure there will be as many different interpretations of this theme as there are players! It will be fun seeing what freedom means to each of us!
