Weekly Challenge - "Books"

Books! One of my most very favorite things on earth. This weeks challenge topic is Books. This could mean photos of books, paintings of libraries, altered books, collages with book pages - you name it! Just make sure you have fun.

Come back here and post a link to your submission in the comments by noon on 7/18. Next Sunday we will display all the contributors work. And everyone who submits a piece will be included in the monthly drawing for a prize.

OK enough is enough - someone set a theme I don't really want to do - I need a couple of weeks off lol!

Angie - maybe bugs? Or household cleaning products? ;-)

Haha, Chris, I'll bet there are some who could even amaze us with household cleaning products lol!

I agree with Angie ~ we've had such enticing themes lately. I was heartbroken not to be able to finish my paisley, so this week the challenge will have to take top priority! Especially for a wonderful theme like books! My favorite thing also.

Lol Chris! Yeah let's have household cleaning products for the next one - I see enough of those without wanting to paint them! ;

What do canes and broad swords have to do with books? Books make great backdrops!

Lovely theme. Here's my entry, very much inspired by Edgar Alan Poe: http://artyventure.wordpress.com/2010/07/16/raven/
