Weekly Challenge - Come Play with Us

Hello Everyone!
This weeks challenge word was a challenge for me to select. I had so many thoughts and hated to have to narrow it down to just one. The obvious would have been anything having to do with Halloween, but since we do not all celebrate it, I thought is was better left alone. So drumroll please....
This weeks Challenge word is...yours to choose from those above. The only catch is to use one of the words from above and create aged looking piece of art. Think vintage, patina, rusty, distressed, antiqued, holey, shredded, you get the picture.
You might want to create some paper art, take a photograph, make a painting, a mixed media piece, a piece of jewelry, home decor, etc. I just want you to challenge yourself this week to create something that warms your heart, 'cuz it's gettin' chilly 'round here. :-)
I can't wait to see what you create! I know I can speak for us all when I say we love to see what you are up to.
Tammy

Weekly Challenge - "Harvest"

Bringing in the Sheaves

  1. Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,
    Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;
    Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,
    We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
    • Refrain:
      Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
      We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves;
      Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
      We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
  1. Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,
    Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;
    By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,
    We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
Pumpkins, indian Corn, bright red apples,

This week's challenge.... Harvest
