Weekly Challenge...Furry

Hi Everyone!
I know that it is St. Valentine's Day week,
and maybe I should have made this challenge easy
and chose Love or Hearts or Chocolate
for the theme.
Hmmm...Chocolate would have been a good one....
BUT.
I have ulterior motives.
My Mom would like me to paint a picture of her cat, Puffy.
I have never painted fur before,
and to be honest,
I am feeling more than a little unsure of myself.
So.
I am inviting you all to join me
in this week's challenge...FUR...
And you don't have to paint, of course,
you can use any medium you like.

Look at these Furry Boots
(they are vegan friendly, too)

Here's Puffy

Is this a furry pear?

Have a Happy week...
and if you have any tips on painting fur...

Was that a squirrel? If so, it has to be the fattest one I've ever seen! If I can get my computer to work long enough to upload photos- I'll definitely have something for this week!

You guys are all so clever. This one really stumped me. However, my legs are pretty "furry" right now! I have been working on finishing projects and completely missed the challenge this week! I will check it all out tomorrow, anxious to see what all you creative minds came up with for this theme!

Very interesting... Well, I am not a big fan of REAL fur being used to make items, although I love fur on living, breathing, entities (except for my hubby's face-ugh!)- so I am presenting some synthetic fur that I used in making this-http://www.etsy.com/listing/64590752/mixed-and-multi-fiber-collage-you-can
