"And above all watch, with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." ~Roald Dahl ~
We're reading a lot of Dahl in the WrightStuff house right now as his work has been a project at school. Taking inspiration from his stories and the wonderful Quentin Blake illustrations struck me as rather ideal for this challenge, as with an imagination such as Dahl's there's so much to choose from.
There's giants, crocodiles, peaches and chocolate. Good guys, bad guys and just plain mad guys.
Wonderful quotations, illustrations and fascinations. Children and grown-ups, the young at heart, the furry of skin and most wily of characters.
What will you pick?
The guidelines for the challenge are in the right hand sidebar.

I fell in love with Roald Dahl my first year of university. It wouldn't be my first Roald Dahl inspired painting if I did one. Unfortunately I am home for a family emergency and all my paints are still in another province, so I'm going to have to sit this one out. : (
I ran a writing challenge for children on the RD theme & found it great fun. I loved RD as a child and still do. Even better now I get to share with my children. Great theme idea!

I used Quentin Blake's illustrations as my inspiration. I was going to try and write a Dahl-style story to go with it too, but ran out of time... maybe next week.
