Texture
Texture is a quality that I've always admired in art.
It can be added in many ways, but it always gives
an extra depth with the layering it creates.
I love the sweet little bird with his fabric feathers and stitching!
Here it is accomplished with paint.
So your task this week, if you choose to play,
is to create a piece of art with texture.
Digital texture is lovely and mysterious:
Above and below,
two very different mediums, but both rich with texture!
Do you regularly work with texture in your art,
or is it something new to explore?
Either way, I hope this week's theme is fun and rewarding!

I was going to share one of my digital creations because I always love to play with textures in PSE, but I thought I'd share my crochet instead since my current single colour mosaic crochet blanket relies on the texture of the stitch variation to create the design.
