The Swirly Results
Abstract swirls, surreal swirls, inspirational swirls, figurative swirls,
humorous swirls, even some beautiful swirly beads!
So much inspiring art!
Have a look for yourself!

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love something about all of these, but I guess I have to pick a
showcase winner for the week. So difficult...first,
I must eliminate any IA members (members are not eligible).
Hmmm, it's still difficult. lol.
Okay, after much dithering, I have selected Donna's
day of the dead piece. I love the intricacy of her design,
and even though the swirls are not the biggest and most obvious,
the whole composition has such a graceful swirl to it.
Thanks, Donna, and congratulations!
See you back here tomorrow (Monday)
for next week's challenge theme!
. . . Swirly. . . Swirling. . .
Swirls!
Our theme this week is one that will lend itself to
any medium (unless you work in razor blades and nails,
but even then I'm sure a swirl could be
fashioned out of those somehow!)
Swirling shapes are often found in nature.
It lends itself to the abstract.
Maybe swirls make you think of music.
The art nouveau painters incorporated swirls in their art.
I really love her swirling hair!
Swirls also make me think of beautiful lampwork beads.
The flowing molten glass is ultra-swirly.
This reminds me of a paisley pattern
which has oodles of swirls.
So let's see your
Swirly Art!
As always, any medium is welcome;
post your link back here by Sunday July 29 at noon.
But, most important, have fun with this flowing, organic shape!
